statement/ bio/ cv

The tempest of the subtropical climate has permeated my body, filling my inner landscape with wind, rain, and clouds, feeding the flora and transforming the earth. My work is a reaction to, and meditation on, the emotional climate.  I communicate these expressions through drawing, printmaking, and specific mark-making to make them tangible and understandable. These works help me navigate the tempest, finding repetitions that bring clarity and reverence under shifting land and skies.
